What we sing: Well-loved songs from around the world and new music inspired by the people who make up this choir. There are no auditions and you don’t need to read music. The songs are often simple but we may sing in different languages – sometimes within the same song!
Who We Are
The spirit of the Fiestaville Choir is to celebrate our multicultural community and to promote peace, harmony and understanding through the universal language of music.
We enjoy each other’s company and singing together, in a relaxed and supportive atmosphere.
Our Conductor: (pictured left) Christina Mimmocchi has over 15 years of experience as a musical director, composer, arranger, instrumentalist, performer and music producer. Her singing and conducting has taken her across Australia and beyond with musical adventures including, Blindman’s Holiday,
Sydney Women’s Vocal Orchestra and ‘Lola’s Keg Night’.
Tuesdays 10.00am – 12.00pm
Venue: Civic Theatre, MacMahon Street, Hurstville
Cost: $60 per term
We perform: For local festivals and community events, in concerts with other choirs and sometimes produce our own shows!
